*Before we can accept your application to the Linkshell we ask you to link your Guildwork character to lodestone and install Mumble. If you do not meet these two requirements you will not be accepted.
*If you accept the condition of making this your primary Linkshell when you apply but do not meet that requirement or we see a drop in attendance as a result of using other linkshells, you will be ousted.
*The Dark Tower, has a two-character limit. This means you can have one main character in the Linkshell and one “alt” character.
*Linkshell rules are guidelines and are not set in stone because no situation is the same.
*Members who are inactive must inform us via the forums ahead of time.
*If you have not been active in the guild for 2 weeks (active meaning more than just logging in briefly and saying hi, then logging off or switching groups), an officer will send you an e-mail checking in with you. If you do not respond to our attempts to set things straight within the third week of absences, you will be removed from The Dark Tower, so that someone else who wants to be in our group can have that opportunity.
*We do not permit the usage of botting and/or hacking tools. If you are found cheating with these third-party programs, immediate action will be taken.
*Leaders reserve the right to change rules with a majority approved reason.
* We ask all members to be polite & considerate to others while in chat or Mumble. We all have our own opinions but please be considerate about other peoples feelings. If leaders or members feel that the topic of conversation is not as mentioned, appropriate action will be taken.
*If for any reason there is a dispute within the Linkshell, please notify a leader so that the problem can be resolved. A minimum of two leaders will be appointed to resolve any issue.
*The Dark Tower isn’t an end-game style linkshell yet as there is no content, but we do plan on advancing our characters and for that to work we need people to show up regularly to missions/quests/other events as we advance. If you sign up for one of these events, you are expected to show up on time and prepared. If you can’t make it for any reason, please tell the event leader in advance either in-game or through the forums so that we can get someone else in your slot. Multiple failures to show up for events you signed up for without notifying the event leader in advance could result in demotion or expulsion from the Linkshell.
Please let us know if you will be attending events posted on schedule, this is located at the bottom of each event.
* I would like to remind everyone to watch what they post on the news feed. Everyone–yes, that includes non-members–can see the content you post the feed. Please think twice about what you post on there. We don't want to offend anyone no matter whether they're a member or not; let's not make The Dark Tower a bad example.
But if you have any questions about the content of your posts, you're free to ask me (and maybe the other leaders). I'll discuss it with you.
