Colbernoux: Perhaps you've heard of the ring named for the thirteenth sultana of Ul'dah, Manana the Fair, the first of her name, whose memory is a comfort to us all.
Colbernoux: Or the necklace bearing the name of Lihtdraega, the Roegadyn maiden whose beauty alone made her one of Ul'dah's wealthiest. There are exquisite blades, as well, named after both the bold and the brave.

So in 14 there are now female "Galka"!

Yep. In the Grand Companies announcement, we actually get to see artwork of Merlwyb Bloefhiswyn. (What a name)

I just saw that Arcanist staff, and I think I found my new favoritest job. Pole weapon + Magic weapon = BEST WEAPON. And why does the Distaff system remind me of Shaman from World of Warcraft?

Ifrit and Titan (Credit to FFXIVCore):

Looks creepier than his XI counterpart, but I like it this way.

God, the fat thong-man got even fatter. If we're getting Summoner, I'll make him sit on marmots!

Knowing FF they will be smaller when summed by a player like in 11. And I am still having trouble deciding guns and more guns (musketeer) vs magic pole guns and trap laying…..

But I like the revisioned ff11/traditional avatars over the ff13 ones …

Musketeer's also pretty appealing to me, and I'm most likely going to play it as well. I wonder if they're going to throw in Corsair.

And back on the avatar subject: Traditional avatars or gtfo.

Odin from XIII was still decent I thought. At least he wasn't a car! Sahz … /facepalm

I wanted Ifrit. Not Brynhildr.
