I don't have the balls to do that. I'm not doing any more OC without seriously upgrading my cooling. I'm running my AMD PhenomIIX6 1090T black edition chip at 3.87 as of now but will push it up above 4 when I upgrade my cooling. I have the radeon HD6850 with twin fans on it so I might push that a bit too. So many fans on my rig I'm surprised it doesn't spin around on its axis or try to take off.
It needn't cost that much. The cpu I'm using costs £133 here in the uk which is peanuts for what you can do with it and the video card is about £150. Overclocking is a lot easier than people think too, you can learn how to do it on forums or from youtube. My OC software came on the asus mobo I think. Oh I forgot to mention my GPU is the black edition as well so I should be able to OC that as well as the cpu, haven't tried yet though.
Think I'll be looking into getting that cooling and will further OC my machine and OC the GPU in a couple of weeks, see if I can improve my benchmark score. My current scores could use some improvement I think, they are;
Low 5010 High 3529
The game runs smoothly enough as it is and looks nice on my 32in widescreen but I think I can get it to do better.
Hiyo; is this a good guide? http://lifehacker.com/5828747/how-to-build-a-computer-from-scratch-the-complete-guide I think It's simple and cut down but I can understand it >.> I will eventually (85% sure) I will build a computer sometime in the future and I was wondering if that guide would be good enough to follow I pretty much want a cheap comp that will be able to play FFXIV and that's about it >.>
latis that guide seems okay but the section on cabling up your computer doesn't seem great. It makes sense to me because I already know how to do it but I'm not sure if it would be much help to someone who didn't. A better option would be to do all the work except the cabling and then getting someone in a shop to do this for you. If he'll do it while you're there then you get a free lesson for next time.
